A Murder Is Announced

A murder is announced and will take place on Friday, October 29th, at Little Paddocks at 6.30 p.m. Friends, please accept this, the only notice.

The villagers of Chipping Cleghorn, an ordinary little English village, are most surprised to read in their local paper a mysterious invitation to a murder at one of their neighbours’ houses.
